The Master Cleanse PDF

Most of us before embarking on anything will always do our research first. Likewise when I wanted to start following the Master Cleanse PDF, the first thing I did was to look it up on the internet. I also read the original Master Cleanse PDF by Stanley Burroughs.  As you can read from the excerpt of chapter 1 of his Master Cleanse PDF, much of his writing is disorganized and hard to understand. I guess being a naturopath doesn't mean he is a good writer!

I had to spend a substantial amount of time on the internet to research for practical and useful info about the Master Cleanse. I really had a difficult time as there is so much information on the internet and I had to sift through the facts from the garbage. Luckily, I came across Katie Jones's Master Cleanse PDF and newsletter.

The author was extremely helpful and answered all my questions conscientiously. I have to acknowledge that she knows her subject matter. If it wasn't for her advice, I have to confess that I wouldn't be able to lose 15 pounds within 10 days. I would had quit by the 3rd day!

I guess the fact that she has 16,000 readers for her newsletter, blog and her best seller Master Cleanse PDF Master Cleanse Insider's is testimonial of her knowledge on the Master Cleanse Program.

Most of the information which you find on the web will tell how simple and easy the master Cleanse program is. I mean everything really sound "glossy"

No one will actually warn you about the "3 days hurdle" of the Master Cleanse. Katie's Master Cleanse PDF was the only source of information which spelt out exactly what to expect and how to overcome it.

Day 3 of the Master Cleanse

For example, she explains,

While some individuals will feel no hunger when on the Master Cleanse, others might find the first 3 days of the Master Cleanse their moment of weakness. I'm referring to hunger pangs, feeling tired or depleted during the first 3 days while you are on the Cleanse. This happens because of low blood sugar. However, this will stop once your body readjusts its metabolic rate to cope with the reduced amount of glucose it received from your normal diet.

She also offers some practical tips on how one can cope with the hunger pangs which can conquer even the strongest will of us.

To help our body readjust, she recommended a 3 day easing-in diet menu. (more details in Katie’s Master Cleanse Insider).

Another tip which she recommended is drinking more of the lemonade to make up for the low blood sugar that we will be experiencing.

The sugar in the maple syrup will revitalize you. As you are also receiving more energy from the sugar in the maple syrup, you will also reduce the hunger which you are experiencing.

Only if we can't stand the hunger pangs does she suggest that we take Hoodia supplement. Hoodia is a herbal extract from a kind of cactus in Africa.  For thousands of years the Kalahari Bushmen used this extract to help them suppress their hunger when they are travelling through the deserts of Africa.

By the third day of the Master Cleanse, our body would have adjusted itself to our new diet regime. This allows us to go about our everyday activities without feeling lethargic. Katie doesn'nt recommend any fancy stuff to cheat our way through the Master Cleanse diet program. Just realistic and practical advice on how we can overcome all the setbacks that we might encounter. Even if we do feel tired or exhausted after the third day of the Master Cleanse program, she just recommends us to repeat the above tips until our body is more accustomed to the liquid diet.
